Why We Love Linen

Our bedding and table linens are all made from 100% linen. Why? Because it’s the best!

It’s eco-friendly and sustainable. The fibre that linen is made from is called flax. Not only is it a beautiful flower, but it also requires less pesticides and fertilizers than other plants. It goes through a careful process to be woven together into what we know as linen. The whole flax plant is utilized when harvested for various purposes, right down to the seed. The fibers are recyclable and eventually biodegradable. Any by-products of linen production are also processed into a pulp to become fiberboard or currency creation. Who knew?

It’s versatile. It can be used for everything from home decor to clothing. Linen comes in many different weights, and is cooling for the summer months, and also keeps you warmer in the winter. What a magical fabric.

It’s non-allergenic and can absorb up to 20% of its weight in moisture before it feels damp. Great for summer days in stifling offices or wondering around the streets in a foreign country.

Last but not least, the more you use it, the softer, stronger and more comfortable the feel. It becomes a unique piece tailored just for you. Wrinkles are part of the deal.

No other fiber offers such a unique blend of luxury, comfort and practicality.
